Have you heard the saying, “fail to plan, plan to fail? ”

I have unfortunately lived through improper planning and paid a terrible price.  How is your planning working for your money? Your spending? Your saving? Have you ever run short on either side of your money or been caught with too much month at the end of your money? I know I have and it is not fun to be strapped for cash. Even though I am good now it’s not always been this way.

Like many of you, I have dealt with not having enough money to pay the bills robbing Peter to pay Paul. It was like playing the roulette wheel on which bills to pay and which ones to wait on because I needed living money! Have you ever been there? Can you relate? .The pain of that, the fear of not having enough money those two things alone have driven me to make plans and to make what I call a  Spending Plan, instead of a Budget, so many people don’t like the “B” Word, because it is limiting and restrictive and focuses on what I cannot spend,  so I call it a Spending Plan. It opens it up to what I can spend, and how I can make my money work for me. I’ve learned to spend my money on assets that work just as hard as I do for my money instead of ALL consumables.

The other side of money that I found a lot of my clients have resistance around is taking the time to write it all down and to truly know what their numbers are. What about you?  Are you truly aware of what is coming in  (income) and what is going out? ( what you spend) If you have ever felt the pain of running short and not having the money, you know the stress of this.  It really doesn’t have to be this way.  Just a few tweaks would probably change the trajectory of your future.  But first things first.  You need to know what’s coming in and going out aka knowing your numbers. Without the numbers, it’s just guesswork and nobody can properly plan.  Did you know that failing to plan is actually a plan just not a good one?  I have no desire to fail financially, it is too painful and provokes much fear in me. I like stability, I like knowing my life is handled, my business is handled. I don’t want to live in chaos and turmoil around money and I don’t want that for you to either. I want you to be empowered to manage your money like a boss.
